in light of the guidelines issued under chapter - II, Section 2(3) of Tamil Nadu Electricity Board Employees Discipline and Appeal Regulations and based on the order in Hon'ble Supreme Court in Ajay Kumar Choudhary - Vs- Union of India reported in (2015) 7 SCC 291 within the time stipulated by this Court.

O R D E R
The present Writ Petition has been filed by a Junior Engineer of TANGEDCO seeking to quash the order of suspension, dated 05.02.2025.
2. A perusal of the impugned suspension order reveals that he has been trapped and arrested by the Inspector of Police, Vigilance and Anti Corruption, Sivaganga detachment on 04.02.2025.
3. According to the learned counsel appearing for the writ petitioner, as per TANGEDCO Regulations, the order of suspension has to be reviewed if it exceeds four months.

4. The learned Standing Counsel appearing for the respondents submits that any review of the suspension order, based upon the Vigilance case, can be made only after getting opinion from the Vigilance Department.
5. In view of the above said facts, the second respondent is directed to consider the representation dated 01.07.2025 for revocation of suspension after getting opinion from the Vigilance Department. The said exercise shall be completed within a period of twelve (12) weeks.
6. With the above said observation, this Writ Petition stands disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs. Consequently connected Miscellaneous Petitions are closed.
