The Petitioner herein seeks a direction to the respondents 1 and 2 to survey the property in S.Nos.734/4A and 734/4C measuring an extent of 0.04.08 hectares situated at Ambalapattu South Village, Orathanadu Taluk, Thanjavur District 2.Mrs.K.Malathi,learned Additional Government Pleader takes notice for the respondents 1 and 2 and Mr.M.Vaikkam Karunanithi, learned Government Advocte(Crl.side) takes notice for the third respondent. By consent of both parties, the Writ Petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself. 3.It is the case of the Petitioner that that patta for the subject properties stand in his name in Patta No.92 and the Petitioner submitted an online application on 2.4.2025 to the respondents 1 and 2 in Application No.2025/N123/21/007421, seeking survey of the subject properties. The same has not been considered till 2/5
date. Hence the Petitioner has come before his court with the present Writ Petition for the relief stated supra. 4.Mrs.K.Malathi, learned Additional Government Pleader who takes notice for the respondents 1 and 2 would submit that the online application submitted by the Petitioner will be considered on its own merits within the time stipulated by this Court.
5.In view of the same, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the matter, the respondents 1 and 2 are directed to consider the online application of the Petitioner, dated 02.04.2025 and pass final orders on its own merits after issuing notice to the Petitioner, neighbouring land owners and other interested parties, if any, within a period of 8 weeks from the date of a copy of this order.
6.With the above directions, the Writ Petition stands disposed of. No costs.
