Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying this Court Forbearing the 1 to 4 herein from permitting the respondents 5th to 9th herein to conduct the temple festivals without conducting peace committee meeting with regard to Arulmigu Sri Vera Mallamman Temple situated at Ko.Kamatchipuram, Kattakamanpaty Post, Nelakottai Taluk, Dindigul District based on petitioner representation dated on 24.8.2019. ORDER

This Contempt petition has been filed with allegations for non compliance of the order passed by this Court in W.P(MD) No.19320 of 2019 dated 05.09.2019, thereby directing the first respondent to conduct peace committee meeting in respect of the conducting temple festival at Arulmighu Sri Veramallamman Temple situated at Ko.Kamatchipuram, Kattakamanpatty Post, Nilakottai Taluk Dindigul District . Immediately the second respondent conducted issued https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ 1/2

Cont.P(MD)No.1463 of 2018 summons to conduct peace committee meeting on 07.09.2019 and the said summon was sent through Village Administrative Officer and the same was refused to receive by the petitioner. When the Village Administrative Officer was about to fix the notice in the house (door) of the petitioner, the petitioner and his wife that they will pour kerosene on them and thereby threatened the Village Administrative Officer.

2. As directed by this Court, the second respondent conducted peace committee meeting on 07.09.2019 and accordingly the parties concerned are permitted to conduct temple festival for Arulmighu Sri Veramallamman Temple situated at Ko.Kamatchipuram, Kattakamanpatty Post, Nilakottai Taluk Dindigul District . Therefore no contempt is made as against the respondents. The respondents have duly complied with the order passed by this Court.

3. Hence the Contempt Petition is dismissed. However the petitioner is at liberty to participate in the festival to be conducted in Arulmighu Sri Veramallamman Temple situated at Ko.Kamatchipuram, Kattakamanpatty Post, Nilakottai Taluk Dindigul District.
