[Order of the Court was made by R.MAHADEVAN, J.] This Writ Petition has been filed for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents 1 to 4 herein, to remove the encroachment made by the respondents 5 to 8 in S.No.69/4, Thaligai Viduthi - Vettikadu Privu Salai in Thaligai Viduthi Village, Orathanadu Taluk, Thanjavur District, to have the right of access to road, based on the representation of the petitioner dated 19.03.2022.

2. Today, when the matter was taken up for hearing, the learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents produced a communication dated 14.09.2022 and submitted that there is no encroachment as pointed out by the petitioner on the public road, whereas, it is a private property.

3. In view of the above, the learned counsel for the petitioner seeks permission of this Court to withdraw this Writ Petition with liberty to approach

the authority concerned, to redress his grievance, along with the supporting documents.

4. Granting such liberty, this Writ Petition is dismissed as withdrawn. No costs.
