W.P.(MD).Nos.320 and 321 of 2014 COMMON ORDER The relief sought for in these writ petitions are to direct the third respondent to provide full grace marks for the Question Nos.22, 35, 38, 45, 51, 52, 58, 70, 75, 76, 89, 91, 92, 96, 97, 109, 113, 115, 117, 128, 145 of the Booklet Series-B of the open competitive process conducted for direct the recruitment to the post of Post graduate Assistant (Tamil) in the year 2012-13. 2.The grievances of the writ petitioners are that an account of certain erroneous questions, the candidates are entitled to get marks. It is brought to the notice of this Court that the controversy arose on account of such erroneous questions settled by the department with the Assistance after getting opinion from the experts and the grievances of those candidates were also redressed.
As far as the petitioners are concerned, they were not selected for appointment to the post of Graduate Assistant. Thus, after this length of time, this Court cannot grant the relief of selection or appointment or provide any additional marks to the questions in respect of the examinations held during the year 2012-13. 3.Accrodingly, these writ petitions stand disposed of. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petitions are closed.
