ORDER

This writ petition has been filed for a Mandamus to direct the respondents to remove the electric pole erected by the fourth respondent in the petitioner's land in Ayan Punja Survey No.334/1B2, at Naduvakurichi Village, Sathankulam Taluk, Thoothukudi District by considering his representations dated 03.07.2025 and 15.07.2025.

2. The complaint of the petitioner is that the respondents have wrongly erected the electric pole in the patta land of the petitioner without due notice to the petitioner. The petitioner has submitted a representation on 03.07.2025 followed by another representation dated 15.07.2025. However, it has not evoked any response. Hence, he prays for a Mandamus. 2/5

3. The learned Standing Counsel for the respondents submits that the fourth respondent will consider and dispose of the petitioner's representations dated 03.07.2025 and 15.07.2025 on merits and in accordance with law within a period of 6 weeks.

4. Recording the above submission, the writ petition stands disposed of by directing the fourth respondent to consider and dispose of the petitioner's representations dated 03.07.2025 and 15.07.2025 on merits and in accordance with law within a period of 6 weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. No costs.
