PRAYER:Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, to issue a writ of Certiorarified Mandamus, to call for the records in pursuant to the Impugned Order passed by the 1st respondent in Memo.No.034393/G.53/G. 532/2024, dated 19.08.2024 and quash the same so far as the petitioner is concerned and consequently direct the respondents 1 to 3 to permit the petitioner to continue as Administrative Officer in the Tirunelveli Electricity Distribution Circle, Tirunelveli.

ORDER

The instant writ petition has been filed by an Administrative Officer working in Tamil Nadu Power Distribution Corporation Limited, challenging the order of transfer from Tirunlelveli to Dharmapuri. 2.According to the learned Counsel appearing for the writ petitioner, his wife is working at Tirunelveli and therefore, any transfer would affect his family life. However, the learned Counsel appearing for the respondent pointed out that the petitioner has completed 3 years of service and there are no other vacancies in the southern districts, the petitioner has been posted to Dharmapuri. 2/5

3.The learned Counsel appearing for the petitioner on instructions submits that the petitioner may be accommodated either at Kundah, Nilgris District or Salem District. In case, such a representation is made by the petitioner, the same may be considered by the respondent authorities. 4.With the above said observations, this writ petition stands closed. No costs.
