O R D E R
This criminal original petition has been filed to quash the impugned FIR in Crime No.116 of 2021 registered on the file of the first respondent for the offences under Sections 147, 148, 294(b), 323, 324 and 506(ii) of IPC.
2.The defacto complainant/Ashock @ Ashok is present before this Court in person. He has been duly identified by Mr.C.Pandi, Sub Inspector of Police attached Usilampatti Town Police Station. The parties have filed a joint memo of compromise dated https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ 1/2
Crl.O.P(MD)No.17660 of 2021 17.11.2021. The defacto complainant categorically states before this Court that he does not want to pursue the complaint. Since the parties have arrived at an amicable settlement, no purpose will be served in keeping the impugned prosecution alive. The impugned FIR is quashed. The Criminal Original Petition is allowed.
