PRAYER: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying this Court to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents 1 and 2 to consider the petitioner's representation dated 25.07.2023 within the time stipulated by this Court.

O R D E R

The present Writ Petition has been filed seeking a direction as against the Revenue officials to initiate action as against the third respondent who is the brother of the writ petitioner.

2. According to the learned counsel appearing for the writ petitioner, the third respondent is working as a Village Assistant in the Revenue Department at Okkaraipatti village. The writ petitioner and his family members are having properties in Uppiliyapuram village. The third respondent by using his influence as Village Assistant, is attempting to disturb the survey of property and is also attempting to transfer the patta in his name. Hence, he sought for action to be initiated as against the third respondent by the respondents 1 and 2.

3. A perusal of the allegations will clearly indicate that there is a civil dispute between the writ petitioner and the third respondent. The third respondent herein is working in an adjacent village and he has no connection whatsoever with Uppiliyapuram village. If at all, the writ petitioner has got 2/4

any grievance with regard to the property dispute with the third respondent, it is for him to initiate appropriate proceedings before a different forum, and this writ petition is not maintainable.

4. Accordingly, this Writ Petition stands dismissed. There shall be no order as to costs.
