ORDER
The present writ petition has been filed seeking direction to the 3rd respondent to issue No Objection Certificate in the prescribed format of the 2nd respondent to the petitioner, so as to enable her to join as Health Officer in the Tamil Nadu Public Health Services along with other selected candidates. 2/5
2. The petitioner has qualified in TNPSC examinations conducted for the recruitment to the post of Health Officers. However, for the purpose of enabling her to joint as Health Officer in TNPSC along with other candidates, No Objection Certificate in the prescribed format has to be received from the 3rd respondent and the 3rd respondent has not given the said No Objection Certificate so far. Already the Directorate of Medical Education and Research, Chennai has permitted the petitioner to participate in the counselling to be conducted by the TNPSC for the said post.
3. Heard Mr.L.Shaji Chellan, learned counsel for the petitioner, Mr.N.Ramesh Arumugam, learned Government Advocate for R1, R3 to R5 and Mr.N.Anand Kumar, learned Standing Counsel for R2.

In view of the fact that the petitioner is already qualified, this Court hereby directs the 3rd respondent to issue No Objection Certificate in the prescribed format of the 2nd respondent to the petitioner, so as to enable her to join as Health Officer in the Tamil Nadu Public Health Services along with other selected candidates. The said exercise shall be completed within a period of one (1) week from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 3/5
5. In view of the above said observations, this Writ Petition stands allowed. No costs. Consequently, connected Miscellaneous Petition is closed. 09.08.2023 NCC : Yes / No Index : Yes / No Internet : Yes/ No gbg Note : Issue order copy on 09.08.2023.
