ORDER

This writ petition is filed by the petitioner challenging the impugned order passed by the second respondent dated 08.10.2018, whereby and whereunder, the second respondent has informed that the https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ 1/2

W.P.(MD)No.21606 of 2018 proposed location satisfies Rule 8(1) of the Tamil Nadu Liquor Retail Vending (Shops and Bars) Rules, 2003 and the directions issued by the Hon'ble Supreme Court and therefore, further steps would be taken based on the willingness of the landlord.

2. When the matter is taken up for hearing today, the learned Standing Counsel appearing for the second respondent / TASMAC, on instructions, submitted that as on date, there is no proposal to open a TASMAC shop at the petition mentioned property.

3. In the light of the submission made by the learned Standing Counsel appearing for the second respondent / TASMAC, on instructions, nothing remains for further adjudication in this writ petition and the same is accordingly, dismissed as infructuous.
