ORDER

The present writ petition has been filed by a retired employee of the respondent Transport Corporation seeking the benefits under 13th wage settlement.

2. A perusal of the records reveal that the petitioner has attained superannuation on 30.09.2016. Thereafter, a wage settlement was entered into between the Trade Union and the Management on 04.01.2018 with effect from 01.09.2016. Seeking the said benefits, the petitioner has given a representation to the Management on 02.06.2025. Since there was no response, the present writ petition has been filed.

Considering the above said facts, the respondent Transport Corporation is directed to release the eligible benefits to the writ petitioner with 6% interest, from the due date till the date of disbursement, within a period of twelve (12) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 2/4

4. With the above directions, this writ petition stands disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
