This Writ Petition is filed for issuance of a Writ of Certiorari, to quash the impugned order passed by the respondent vide proceedings in No.TN/NGL/75245/14B/100442/PDC(5)/2013, dated 16.12.2013, imposing a sum of Rs.1,59,840/- as damages and the subsequent proceedings issued by the respondent herein in No.TN/NGL/75245/7Q/100442/PDC(5)/2013, dated 16.12.2013 imposing a sum of Rs.77,465/- as interest from the petitioner herein.

2.When the matter is taken up for hearing today, the learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner has settled the issue with the respondent and therefore, this matter has become infructuous.

3.In view of the submission made by the learned counsel for the petitioner, this Writ Petition is dismissed as infructuous. No costs. Consequently, connected Miscellaneous Petitions are closed. 12.08.2022 Index : Yes / No Speaking Order : Yes / No sji
