ORDER
The Writ Petition has been filed, invoking Article 226 of the Constitution of India, seeking orders to direct the respondents 2 and 3 to take necessary action based on the writ petitioner's representation dated 08.08.2024 made for police protection for the life and limb of the writ petitioner beside directing them to take appropriate action against the erring persons as mentioned in the said representation by registering the case against them in the manner known to law in the light of the order dated 14.06.2024 passed by the first respondent within a time frame as fixed by this Court.

2. Mr.M.Muthumanikkam, learned Government Advocate (Civil Side) takes notice for the first respondent and Mr.E.Antony Sahaya Prabahar, learned Additional Public Prosecutor takes notice for the respondents 2 and 3. By consent, this writ petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.

The learned counsel appearing for the writ petitioner would submit that in pursuance of the direction of this Court, the first respondent has passed an order dated 14.06.2024, wherein, a specific direction was given to the Inspector of Police, Madhagupatti Police Station to take action against the persons, who were harassing the petitioner and that the writ petitioner has lodged a complaint on 08.08.2024, but no action was taken.
4. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents 2 and 3 would submit that on the basis of the complaint given by the writ petitioner on 08.08.2024, CSR No.538 of 2024 came to be registered and the same is pending for enquiry. 3/6
5. Considering the submissions made on either side, the Inspector of Police, Sivagangai Taluk Police Station, Sivagangai is directed to conduct enquiry in the said CSR and take a decision within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
6. With the above direction, the Writ Petition stands disposed of. No costs.
