O RDER This petition is filed under Section 482 of Cr.P.C. seeking for a direction to the respondent Police to complete the investigation in Crime No.251 of 2023, dated 09.07.2023.

2. It is submitted by learned counsel for the petitioner that the petitioner has filed a complaint before the respondent Police about the missing of his wife. Accordingly, the Police have issued FIR on 09.07.2021 in Crime No.251 of 2023 and the petitioner, therefore, sought for expeditious completion of investigation in respect of the missing of his wife.

Learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side) submitted that the petitioner's wife is chased by the respondent Police and according to the Police, the petitioner's wife is living with another person, by name, Saravanan at Tiruppur and have reported that within a short time, they will complete the investigation and file a final report before the concerned Court.

In view of the submissions made by learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side), since the petitioner's wife has already been traced, the respondent Police are directed to complete the investigation and file a final report before the concerned Court within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5. With the above direction, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
