O R D E R

This writ petition has been filed seeking a direction to the respondents 3 and 4 to make necessary correction in the revenue records in the property situated in Survey no. 685/2, Mesalur Village, Virudhunagar District in view of the petitioner's representation dated 25.07.2023 within a time stipulated by this Court.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents for R1 to R5.

3. The petitioner submitted a representation to the respondents dated 25.07.2023 for making necessary correction in the revenue records in the property situated in Survey no. 685/2, Mesalur Village. However, no action has been taken on the said petition. Hence, the present writ petition has been filed.

4. Learned Government Advocate, appearing for the respondents, submits that the petitioner's representation would be considered on merits and in accordance with law.

In view of the above submissions, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the matter, this writ petition is disposed of with a direction to the respondents 3 and 4 to consider the petitioner's representation dated 25.07.2023 on merits and in accordance with law, and pass appropriate orders within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. Needless to say that if any rival claims, the same shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the civil Court. There shall be no order as to costs.
