ORDER : The Court made the following order :- The petitioner/Accused, who was arrested and remanded to judicial custody on 08.08.2024 for the offence punishable under Sections 83(2) of JJ Act, 2015 and under Section 309(4), 311 of BNS Act, 2023 in Crime No.214 of 2024 on the file of the respondent police, seeks bail.
2.The case of the prosecution is that the petitioner herein and other accused restrained the defacto complainant and committed robbery of Rs.500/- from him at the knife point. Hence, the case.
3. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent and perused the materials available on record.
4. Considering the nature of allegation that the petitioner waylaid the defacto complainant and took away a sum of Rs.500/- from his pocket and only considering the fact that there are no bad antecedents against this petitioner, I am inclined to enlarge the petitioner on bail.

Accordingly, this Criminal Original Petition is allowed and the petitioner is ordered to be released on bail, on executing a bond for a sum of Rs.10,000/- (Rupees Ten Thousand only) with two sureties each for a like sum to the satisfaction of the learned Judicial Magistrate, Vadipatti, Madurai District. (i)the sureties shall affix their photographs and left thumb impression in the surety bond and the Magistrate/concerned court may obtain a copy of their Aadhar card or Bank Pass Book to ensure their identity; (ii)the petitioner shall appear before the respondent Police daily at 10.30 a.m for a period of three weeks and thereafter, as and when required for interrogation; (iii)the petitioner shall not tamper with evidence or witness; iv)the petitioner shall not abscond during trial.
