O RDER This petition is filed under Section 482 of Cr.P.C. seeking for adequate police protection to the petitioner and his family members for their life and limb on the basis of the petitioner's complaint, dated 31.08.2023.
2. It is submitted by learned counsel for the petitioner that on account of disputes between the petitioner and unofficial respondents, the unofficial respondents have posed a threat to the petitioner's life and limb and thereby, a representation is given to respondent No.1 Police, however, no action has been initiated.
3. Learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side) submits that there are disputes between the petitioner and unofficial respondents and the respondent Police have received a complaint of the petitioner in C.S.R.No.342 of 2023 and enquiry is pending. It is submitted that within a short time, they will complete the enquiry and pass suitable orders.
4. In view of the submissions made by both parties and on perusal of records, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of, 2/4
directing the respondent Police to dispose of C.S.R.No.342 of 2023 by following the procedure within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
