ORDER

The Criminal Original Petition has been filed seeking orders to direct the respondents 1 and 2 to give adequate police protection to the life and limb of the petitioner and her family members based on the petitioner's petition dated 14.06.2024.

2. When the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side) appearing for the respondents 1 and 2 would submit that earlier on the basis of the complaint given by the petitioner, FIR came to be registered in Crime No.49 of 2024 on 08.04.2024 against the respondents 3 and 4 for the alleged offences under Sections 294(b) and 324 IPC and Section 4 of TN Prohibition of Harassment of Women Act, 2002 and that investigation is pending.

3. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that even after the registration of FIR, the respondents 3 and 4 have been indulging the very same threatenings and interference.

4. The learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side) appearing for the respondents 1 and 2 would submit that the present complaint 2/4

given by the petitioner is pending before the second respondent.

5. Considering the above, the second respondent is directed to consider the petitioner's representation dated 14.06.2024 and conduct enquiry and then take a decision within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

6. With the above direction, this Criminal Original Petition stands disposed of.
