ORDER

This Writ petition has been filed for a direction to the third respondent to disburse the salary for the teaching and non teaching staffs, working at Sowdambigai Higher Secondary School, Virudhunagar, within the time stipulated by this Court. .

2.Mr.A.Thiagarajan, learned Government Advocate takes notice for the respondents. By consent of both parties, this Writ Petition is taken up for final disposal at the stage of admission itself. 1/3

3.The petitioner school is an aided private school. The school is offering general and secular education to all, without any discrimination, on the basis of caste, creed, religion or language. There are 399 students are studying in the school and one Head Master, 8 P.G.Assistants, 5 B.T Assistants and 4 non-teaching staff are currently working in the said school. The Secretary of the School, raised the pay bills for the month of August-2019 on 16.08.2019. The respondents have not disbursed the salary for the said month. Though the petitioner made representation to the third respondent on 04.09.2019 to consider the proposal dated 16.08.2019, to disburse the salary for the teaching and non teaching staff for the month of August 2019, the respondents have not taken any action.

Hence, the petitioner has come out with the present writ petition. 4.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that it would suffice, if a direction is issued to the third respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner, dated 04.09.2019, within a time limit that may be stipulated by this Court.

5.In the light of the abovesaid submission, this Court without deciding the issue on merits, directs the third respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner, dated 04.09.2019 and pass order on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of eight (8) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 6.With the above direction, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs. Consequently, the connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
