ORDER
The instant writ petition has been filed by a retired employee of the second respondent corporation, seeking a mandamus directing the corporation to provide the arrears of interest for the subscription amount deducted from the salary of the petitioner towards the General Provident Fund while in service along with Dearness allowance arrears, V pay commission arrears and revised pay commission arrears.
2.On instructions, the learned Standing Counsel appearing for the second respondent submits that the petitioner is eligible to receive only arrears of interest for subscription amount deducted form the salary of the petitioner towards General Provident Fund and the said amount of Rs.1,27,255/- has already been paid to the petitioner on 26.03.2024. 2/5
3.The learned Counsel appearing for the respondent further submits that the petitioner is not eligible to receive any further amount from the respondent transport corporation. However, no orders have been passed by the corporation indicating the eligibility or ineligiblity of the writ petitioner with regard to any one of the heads as prayed for by the writ petitioner.
4. In view of the above said facts, the second respondent is directed to pass a detailed orders giving the break up details with regard to the eligibility of the writ petitioner and the payment made to the writ petitioner as prayed for in the writ petition within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
5.With the above said observations, this writ petition stands disposed of. No costs.
