[Order of the Court was made by T.S.SIVAGNANAM, J.] This Writ Petition has been filed for the issuance of a writ of Mandamus, to direct the Respondents No.1 to 3 to remove the illegal encroachments made in "Government Porampoke Odai" situated in S.No.523 at Velayuthampalayam Village, Vedasandur Taluk, Dindigul District by way of fencing in that Prompoke Odai made by Respondents No.4 to 7 as illegal within a time frame.
2.Heard Ms.Kanimozhi, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner, Mr.A.Karthick learned Government Advocate appearing for respondent Nos.1 to 3. Though respondent Nos.4 to 7 have been served and their names appears in the cause list, none appear for them. 3.The third respondent Tahsildar, Vedasandur has filed a status report, dated 16.04.2021, stating that the encroachments have been removed. The said submission is placed on record. The Tahsildar, Vedasandur is directed to ensure that no future encroachment in the land in question.
4.The Writ Petition stands disposed of with the above direction. No costs.
