Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for R1 & R2.

2. The petitioner wants the respondents 1 & 2 to implement the petition mentioned peace committee meeting decision taken on 23.12.2014. I have consistently held that such meetings do not have any statutory force. If the petitioner is aggrieved by any action taken by the jurisdictional Tahsildar under the provisions of the Tamil Nadu Land Encroachment Act, 1905, it is always open to the petitioner to challenge the same in the manner known to law. Granting such liberty to the petitioner, the Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
