Prayer : Criminal Original Petition filed under Section 528 of BNSS, to call for the records of the impugned FIR lodged as against the petitioner herein in Crime No.274 of 2024 on the file of the 1st respondent Police and quash the same.

ORDER

The petitioner is the 12th accused in Crime No.274 of 2024 on the file of the 1st respondent, which was registered for the offence under Sections 1/4

191(2), 296(b), 115(2), 303(2), 351(2) of BNS and Section 3 of Tamil Nadu Public Property (Prevention of Damage and Loss) Act, 1992. He has moved this petition to quash the FIR in Crime No.274 of 2024 registered against him, on the ground of compromise.

2. It is not known whether the defacto complainant has compromised the issue with the petitioner alone. Further, there is no material placed before this Court that the matter has been amicably settled between the parties. Therefore, this Court is not inclined to entertain this petition.

3. Accordingly, this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed with liberty to the petitioner to file a fresh petition along with a compromise memo.
