PRAYER : Writ petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, to issue a Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus to call for the records pertaining to the Impugned Government order in G.O.(MS)No.62 Finance (CMPC) Department, dated 09.03.2015 on the file of the first respondent and quash the same as illegal and consequently for a direction, directing the first respondent to sanction the Selection Grade/ Special Grade Pay in the Headmaster Cadre to the petitioner and disburse the eligible monetary benefits and arrears to the petitioner.

With reference to the grant of benefits extended in G.O.Ms.No.216, dated 22.03.1993, the Full Bench of this Court fixed a cut-off date stating that the writ petitions filed prior to 09.12.2016, shall be allowed for the purpose of extending the benefit of G.O.Ms.No.216, dated 22.03.1993. In view of the fact that the present writ petition was filed on 23.07.2015. The case of the writ petitioner is to be considered in the light of the judgment passed by the Full Bench, reported in 2017 (1) L.W. - 673.
2. Thus, the respondents are directed to consider the case of the writ petitioner, with reference to the judgment of the Full Bench and pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. The petitioner is permitted to submit a fresh representation setting out the facts and details, within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 3.With these directions, the writ petition stands disposed of. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
