Heard the learned counsel on either side.

2. The petitioner is said to have purchased the petition-mentioned property vide sale deed dated 14.02.2012 from one Kottaisamy. The said Kottaisamy is the Power Agent of one Muthuvel Kumar. It is stated that the document was kept as a pending document. The petitioner wants the respondent to release the same.

3. It has been stated that the proceedings under Section 47 of the Registration Act are not pending. It is also stated that the power granted to Kottaisamy was cancelled in the year 2014. But that is subsequent to the date of execution of the sale deed in favour of the petitioner.

4. The petitioner is directed to approach the respondent with original receipt. The respondent on being satisfied with the genuineness of the petitioner's claim, shall release the petition-mentioned document to the petitioner herein. This shall be done within a period of three weeks after production 2/4
