This Hebeas Corpus Petition was filed by the father to produce the body of his daughter, who is aged about 22 years. 2.When the matter was taken up for hearing, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that the detenue developed intimacy with one Pratheep, who is aged about 41 years and he is a married man. Both of them seem to have eloped and as a result, based on the complaint given by the father, Woman Missing Case was registered in Crime No.130 of 2022 before the second respondent police station. That apart, another complaint was lodged by the father of Pratheep before the Chinnamanur Police Station and based on the same, Crime No.387 of 2022 was registered. In the course of investigation, both of them were secured and the detenue has given a 2/4
statement to the effect that she is not prepared to go with her father and that she is now living with the above said Pratheep and both of them having been living together peacefully.
The statement recorded from the detenue under Section 161 Cr.P.C was also produced before this Court. 3.In view of the above, considering the limited scope of this petition, no further order can be passed in this petition. Accordingly, Habeas Corpus Petition is closed.
