ORDER
(Order of the Court was made by PUSHPA SATHYANARAYANA, J.) By order dated 15.11.2021, this Court had directed either the closure of the TASMAC shop or to shift the shop to an alternate site, as per the Tamil Nadu Liquor (Licence and Permit) Rules, 1981. The matter has been posted today for reporting compliance of the above order.
2. Today, when the matter was taken up for hearing, a communication from the District Manager, TASMAC Ltd., Tuticorin, addressed to the Managing Director, TASMAC, Chennai, in proceedings Na.Ka.No.A3/712/2021, dated 16.11.2021, has been produced, in which, it is stated that the Shop No.10094 situated at Meignanapuram Village, Tiruchendur Taluk, was closed with effect from 16.11.2021, after removing the stock in trade, to the TASMAC Godown in Tuticorin.
3. Recording the said fact, the Writ Petition is closed. No costs.
