PRAYER :- For Anticipatory bail in Crime No.380 of 2024 on the file of the respondent police.

ORDER : The Court made the following order :- The petitioners /Accused, who apprehend arrest at the hands of the respondent police for the offences punishable under Sections 8(c) and 20(b)(ii)(B), Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act, 1985, in crime No.380 of 2024 on the file of the respondent police, seek anticipatory bail.

2.The case of the prosecution is that On 07.08.2024 at about 11.30 am., the respondent police received secret information that few members are selling Ganja in Mohan Singh Street. Hence, the respondent police registered a case against the petitioners.

3. The learned counsel for the petitioners would submit that the petitioners are innocents and they have not committed the offence as alleged by the prosecution. Hence, he prays for grant of anticipatory bail to the petitioners. 4.Heard the learned Government Advocate(Crl.sdie) appearing for the State. 5.Considering the fact that the confession of the arrested accused-A1, the petitioners are arrayed as A2 to A4 in the case and considering the allegations that the 2/4

petitioners are also having previous antecedent, it is not a fit case for grant of anticipatory bail to the petitioners. Hence, this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed.
