Prayer : Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying this Court to issue a Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus, to call for the records pertaining to the impugned order passed by the 1st respondent in Na.Ka.J3/53577/2014 dated 12.1.15 quash the same and consequently direct the respondents to supply the arrears of rice and other things to the petitioner from the month of February 2015 and continue to supply the same to him every month without default.

ORDER

Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the official respondents.

2. The petitioner was holding the petition mentioned family ration card. By the impugned proceedings, it was revoked without notice. In the counter affidavit, it is stated that the petitioner had applied a fresh ration card and that the process is still pending. It is not known if the petitioner has been issued with a new ration card. If a new ration card has been issued, the matter can be given a quietus.

3. Since the impugned order has been issued without complying with the principles of natural justice, it is set aside. The Writ Petition is allowed. No costs.
