issuance of Writ of Mandamus, to direct the first and second respondents to reject the application for electricity connection filed by the fourth respondent in respect of the property, situated at Survey No.178/2A2B2C, measuring 20.80 cents in Ayyalur village, Vedasandur Taluk, Dindigul District, till the final adjudication and dispose of all pending civil suits relating to the title and ownership of the said property.

ORDER
This Writ Petition is disposed of at the time of admission with the consent of the learned counsel for the petitioner and learned Standing Counsel for the respondents 1 and 2 and after dispensing with the notice on the respondents 3 and 4, as no adverse orders are proposed to be passed.
2. It appears that the petitioner and the third respondent are the neighbours with whom the petitioner had some financial transaction pursuant to which the petitioner appears to have executed a sale deed in favour of the third respondent. The third respondent, in turn, sold the property to the fourth respondent. 2/7
3. In this background, two suits are pending, out of which one is before the Principal District Court, Dindigul in O.S.No.454 of 2024 at the behest of the petitioner and another suit is before the Sub Court, Vedasandur in O.S.No.269 of 2024 at the behest of the fourth respondent. Hence, the petitioner cannot seek any remedy in the respective suits, where the petitioner is the plaintiff and defendant, respectively.
4. Rights of the petitioner will be subject to the final outcome of the suits that are pending.
5. This Writ Petition is disposed of, with the above liberty. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed. Index : Yes / No 31.07.2025 Internet : Yes / No apd 3/7

This Writ Petition is listed today under the caption "for being mentioned" at the instance of the learned counsel for the petitioner.
2. The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that this Court, by order dated 31.07.2025, disposed of the Writ Petition by granting liberty to the petitioner to work out his remedy in the suits pending in O.S.No.454 of 2024, on the file of the Principal District Court, Dindigul and O.S.No.269 of 2024, on the file of the Sub Court, Vedasandur. However, it is brought to the notice of this Court that in Paragraph 3 of the said order, it has been erroneously stated as under:- ''Hence, the petitioner cannot seek any remedy in the respective suits, where the petitioner is the plaintiff and the defendant respectively.'' The learned counsel submits that the sentence is factually incorrect and seeks appropriate correction.

Considering the above submissions and on perusal of the records, the Registry is directed to substitute the last line in Paragraph 3 of the order dated 31.07.2025 in W.P.(MD)No.20801 of 2025, with the following sentence:- Hence, the petitioner is at liberty to seek appropriate remedies in the respective suits, where he is the plaintiff and defendant respectively.
4. In all other respects, the order dated 31.07.2025, shall remain unaltered. Registry is directed to carry out the above said correction and issue fresh order copy forthwith to the parties concerned.
