O RDER This Criminal Original Petition is filed under Section 482 of Cr.P.C. seeking for quashment of FIR in Crime No.1302 of 2020 on the file of the first respondent Police for the offences under Sections 147, 148, 294 (b), 323, 342, 353, 332, 307, 269 and 188 of I.P.C. r/w Section 3 of the Tamil Nadu Public Property (Prevention of Damage and Loss) Act, 1992.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner.

3. When the matter was taken up for hearing, learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that the investigation in this case has already been completed and charge sheet is made ready and about to be filed before the concerned learned Judicial Magistrate.

4. Once investigation has already been completed and charge sheet is about to be filed, this petition seeking for quashment of FIR cannot be considered at this stage.

Accordingly, the criminal original petition is disposed of, directing the respondent Police to submit the charge sheet before the concerned Court as quickly as possible not later than two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. After taking the case on file by the learned Judicial Magistrate, the petitioner is at liberty to challenge the charge sheet, in case, if he is advised so.
