ORDER

This Court by order dated 01.12.2023, directed the petitioner to take a demand draft for the amount and hand it over to the respondent bank before the next date of hearing.

2. When this contempt petition is taken up for hearing, learned counsel for the respondent bank submits that this petitioner has not provided the demand draft as directed by this Court.

3. Learned counsel appearing for the respondent submitted that if the petitioner has given a demand draft, they would have returned the jewels.

4. Since the petitioner has failed to pay the amount as directed by this Court, this Court is not inclined to entertain this petition. Accordingly, this Contempt petition is closed. No costs. 05.01.2024 NCC :
