O RDER This Criminal Original Petition is filed under Section 482 of the Code of Criminal Procedure seeking for a direction to the respondent No.1 police not to harass the petitioner basing on the complaint given by the unofficial respondent Nos.2 and 3.

2.It is submitted by the learned counsel for the petitioner that the petitioner is the mother of the respondent No.2 and wife of one late Rajappan. The unofficial respondent Nos.2 and 3 have filed a suit in O.S.No.74 of 2021 on the file of the learned Additional District Judge No.2, Thanjavur seeking partition of the joint family properties and the same is pending. The petitioner's husband died and her son is stated to be residing in Erode District and is doing business. Taking advantage of the same, the unofficial respondent Nos.2 and 3 have been harassing the petitioner.

3.The learned Government Advocate (Crl.side) submits that both the petitioner and the unofficial respondent Nos.2 and 3 are the family members and a civil suit is also pending between them. It is submitted that the complaint filed by 2/4

the petitioner is registered as CSR.No.456 of 2023 and the investigation is in progress.

4.Considering the circumstances, the respondent police are directed to provide protection to the petitioner from the unofficial respondent Nos.2 and 3 and directed not to harass the petitioner, until the suit in O.S.No.74 of 2021 is disposed of by the trial Court.

5.With the above direction, this Petition is disposed of.
