Respondents Prayer: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying this Court to issue a Writ of Mandamus, by directing the first respondent to conduct an enquiry against the third respondent on the basis of the representation given by the petitioner dated 23.01.2014 and to initiate appropriate proceeding within a specified time.

ORDER

This Writ Petition has been filed seeking a direction to initiate necessary inquiry against the third respondent on the basis of representation given by the petitioner dated 23.01.2014.

2. Mr.S.Kameswaran, learned Government Advocate appears for respondents 1 and 2.

3. The petitioner had a running dispute with her own husband necessitating her to give a complaint which was registered in Crime No.18 of 2014 under Section 341, 294 (b), 427 and 506 (i) of IPC. This can be considered as a counter case. It went up to trial and I am informed that acquittal had been granted in favour of the accused person. There was another First Information Report which was registered in Crime No.19 of 2014 also under Section 341, 294(b), 324, 323 and 506 (ii) of IPC and this case was closed as mistake of fact.

4. As on date, nothing survives in the Writ Petition. This Writ Petition is closed. There shall be no order as to costs.
