ORDER

This Contempt Petition is filed complaining that the order of this Court dated 03.02.2022 passed in W.P.(MD)No.11126 of 2021 has not been complied with.

2. This Court, in W.P.(MD)No.11126 of 2021, by order dated 03.02.2022, has passed the following order:

"4. In view of the limited scope of the relief sought for, this Court, without expressing anything on the merits of the case, directs the third and fourth respondents to consider the petitioner's representation dated 28.04.2021 and pass appropriate orders, on its own merits and in accordance with law, after affording due opportunity of hearing to the petitioner, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order."

3. The learned Additional Government Pleader has produced a letter dated 16.10.2023 and submits that based on the petitioner's representation dated 28.04.2021, a Sweeper and an Office Assistant have been deputy from the adjacent school. He has also produced the attendance register.

4. It appears that the respondents have deputed the above staff from another school, which is situated 10 kms. away from the present school. It is not known as to whether the Sweeper, who is deputed from another school, has discharged her duty effectively in the present school, namely, the Government High School, Seepalakottai, Uthamapalayam Taluk, Theni District.

5. Since the scope of the contempt petition is limited, this Court is not inclined to pass any further order in this contempt petition. Accordingly, this Contempt Petition is closed. The respondents shall 3/5

ensure that the post of Sweeper and Office Assistant is filled up on regular basis in the Government High School, Seepalakottai, Uthamapalayam Taluk, Theni District.
