Seeking quashment of the proceedings in CC No. 1925 of 2022 on the file of the learned Judicial Magistrate Court, Karaikudi, the petitioners/A1 & A2 have moved this petition, on the ground of compromise.

2.This Court, by its earlier order dated, 29.07.2025, directed the respondent police to ascertain the genuineness of the compromise arrived between the parties and to list this matter today for the appearance of the parties before this Court.

3.The parties are present before this Court and when this Court attempted to verify with the defacto complainant with regard to the compromise, A2 has quarrelled with the defacto complainant even in the open Court. Though the defacto complainant is willing to settle the issue with the petitioners and to withdraw her complaint, considering the manner, in which the petitioners are agitating as against the defacto complainant, the defacto complainant submits that she is willing to prosecute the case further.

4.Considering the statement of the defacto complainant, the manner, in which, the parties are fighting each other even before this Court, this Court is not inclined to quash the proceedings in CC No. 1925 of 2022, on the file of the learned Judicial Magistrate, Karaikudi. 5.Accordingly, this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed. 08.08.2025 NCC : Yes/No Index : Yes/No Internet:Yes vrn To The Inspector of Police, Sakkottai Police Station, Sivagangai District.
