ORDER

Heard the learned counsel for the petitioners and the learned Government Advocate for R1 & R2.

2. Considering the nature of relief to be granted, issuance of notice to the private respondents is dispensed with. 1/3

3. The only relief that the petitioners seek is to be provided with police protection so that they can go before the Pattukottai Town Police Station and lodge their complaint.

4. The petitioners' counsel stated that the petitioners have genuine apprehensions regarding their physical safety.

5. The second respondent is ready to allay the said misgivings. It is undertaken that after the petitioners reach Pattukottai limits, the petitioner's counsel Thiru.K.Jagannathan can contact the under-mentioned phone numbers (Mr.Rajesh, Inspector, Mobile Nos.8300002050, 9842145020 & Mr.Muthu Kumar Sub Inspector, Mobile No.8248684683) and intimate the second respondent that they have reached the Pattukottai limits. Thereupon, the second respondent will offer protection to the petitioners so that they can reach the station premises and lodge their complaint. They will be escorted back also safely.
