ORDER

The learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner made a submission that though the criminal case ended with an order of acquittal, the subsequent departmental disciplinary proceedings in some other charges ended with the punishment of removal from service and the petitioner preferred an appeal. As of now, the petitioner is not in service and relieved on account of punishment of removal from service, no further consideration needs to be shown in respect of the present writ petition. However, in the event of reinstatement, the petitioner is at liberty to approach the competent authorities or the Court of Law questioning the validity of the impugned proceedings.
