PRAYER :-For Bail in Crime No.788 of 2021 on the file of the Respondent Police.

ORDER : The Court made the following order :- The petitioner/Accused No.2, who was arrested and remanded to judicial custody on 14.10.2021 for the offence punishable under Section 174 Cr.P.C @ 302 IPC, in Crime No.788 of 2021, on the file respondent police, seeks bail.

2.The case of the prosecution is that the Village Administrative Officer, Periyammapatti village, received information at about 04.30 pm, on 13.10.2021 that the deceased was found dead in his house in a suspicious manner. Hence, the complaint. 3.The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner is innocent and he has not committed any offence as alleged by the prosecution and he has been falsely implicated in this case. He would further submit that the petitioner is in judicial custody from 14.10.2021.

CRL OP(MD). No.17714 of 2021 4.The learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent would submit that it is a murder case and that the petitioner was very much present in the occurrence place. He would further submit that the investigation is pending. 5.Considering the seriousness and gravity of the offence and that the investigation is in earlier stage as stated by the learned Additional Public Prosecutor, this Court is not inclined to grant bail at this point of time.
