PRAYER : Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying this Court to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents 3 & 4 to pass an order of assessment, for house tax for the new house constructed by the petitioner in Gostha Bangalow street in Sernadamaram Cusba Panchayat in Sankarankovil taluk in Tirunelveli District, as per the contemplated provisions of Tamil Nadu Panchayat Act and Rules within a time frame as fixed by this Court. ORDER
The present writ petition has been filed for a mandamus, directing the Panchayat President to implement the order of the 2nd respondent with regard to the assessment of property tax.
2. After the tenure of the Panchayat President had expired, during the tenure of the Special Officer, the grievance of the petitioner has been resolved and as on today, the petitioner has no grievance with regard to the assessment of property tax.

3. In view of the above said facts, this Writ Petition stands closed. No costs. Consequently, connected Miscellaneous Petition is also closed. 02.12.2022 Index :
