ORDER
The instant writ petition has been filed by an aspirant to the post of Forest apprentice and he had applied based upon the notification issued by the Tamil Nadu Public Service Commission in Advertisement No.624, Notification No. 20/2022, dated 08.08.2022.
2. A perusal of the notification reveals that priority would be granted to those who are holding Bachelor's degree in Forestry or its equivalent degree of any University recognised by UGC. Admittedly, the petitioner is not holding a Bachelor's degree in Forestry or any equivalent degree. 3.The petitioner has accepted the notification and he has participated in the selection process. It is the contention of the learned Counsel appearing for 2/5
the respondent that all the selected candidates are holding Bachelor's degree in Forestry and none of the candidates who are having Bachelor's degree in any other subject have been selected.
4.In view of the above said facts, the petitioner cannot have any grievance over the publication of the provisional list of selected candidates who are having Bachelor's degree in Forestry.
5.In view of the above submissions, there are no merits in the writ petition. Accordingly, this writ petition stands dismissed. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petitions are also closed. 03.09.2024 NCC : Yes/No Index : Yes/No Internet: Yes/No RJR 3/5
