PRAYER :-For Bail in Crime No.7 of 2023 on the file of the respondent Police ORDER : The Court made the following order :- The petitioner/ sole accused herein, who was arrested on 27.02.2023 for the alleged offence under Sections Sections 5(l), 5(m), 6 of Protection of Children from Sexual Offences Act, 2012 r/w. Section 342, 506(ii), 450 of IPC in Crime No.7 of 2023 on the file of the respondent Police, seek bail.

2. The case of the prosecution is that the accused person misbehaved with the victim girls sexually inside one Rani's house and also threatened the victim girls that they should not tell anyone, if they do, he will stab them with knife. On coming to 1/3

know the above said facts, the complaint came to be registered.

3. The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner is innocent person and he was falsely implicated in this case and he has not committed any offence as alleged by the prosecution.

4.The learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that the earlier bail application that was filed by this petitioner was dismissed by the concerned Special Court, by the order dated 27.07.2023, considering the gravity of offence. Further, the trial has commenced. P.W.1 was examined in chief and without examining the victim girls, this petition has been filed by this petitioner.

5. Even though the learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner wants to engage a counsel to defend the case before the concerned Special Court, it is not a reasonable ground to entertain this petition.

6. Considering the facts and circumstance of this case and also considering the gravity of offence, I find no reason to entertain this petiton at this stage.
