O R D E R

[Order of the Court was made by D.KRISHNAKUMAR, J.] Prayer in this writ petition is to direct the second respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 18.02.2014 and to demolish the illegal construction of the Office of the Corporation Counselor of Madurai Corporation and Sanitary Section Office constructed by the officials of the third respondent, in the vacant site belonging to him.

2. The grievance of the petitioner is that the officials of the third respondent has encroached upon his land and unauthorizedly constructed a building therein. Seeking to remove the same, the petitioner has given a

representation dated 18.02.2014 to the respondents. Since the same has not been considered, the petitioner has filed this writ petition.

3. It is seen that this writ petition is of the year 2014. However, till date, no counter affidavit has been filed by the respondents.

4. Considering the nature of the relief sought for by the petitioner, the second respondent is directed to consider the petitioner's representation dated 18.02.2014 and pass orders on merits and in accordance with law, after providing due opportunity to the parties concerned, within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5. Accordingly, this writ petition is disposed of. No costs. Consequently connected miscellaneous petition is closed. [D.K.K., J.] [M.D.I., J.] 11.01.2024 NCC :
