ORDER

The petitioner herein seeks a directions to the respondents to rectify the mistakes in FMB in S.No.223/8 instead of 223/9 by considering his representation dated 04.07.2022.

2. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mrs.S.Jeya Priya, learned Government Advocate who takes notice for the respondents 1 and 2.

3. By consent of both the parties, the writ petition is taken up for final disposal at the stage of admission itself.

4. According to the petitioner, the property situated in S.No.223/9 in Servaikaranmadam Taluk is his property, having purchased the same under a Sale Deed dated 12.03.2025 and 21.03.2025. The adjacent property in S.No.223/8 is a road portion. However, in the FMB, the property of the petitioner in S.No.223/9 has been detailed as road. Therefore, the petitioner submitted an instant representation on 04.07.2025, seeking 2/6

rectification FMB for survey numbers in S.No.223/8 and S.No.223/9. The same has not been considered. Hence, the petitioner has come before this Court.

5. The learned Government Advocate who takes notice for the respondents would submit that the representation of the petitioner dated 04.07.2025 will be considered and in accordance with law.

In view of the same, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the matter, the respondents are directed to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 04.07.2025 and pass final orders on its own merits and in accordance with law, within a period of 12 weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, after affording reasonable opportunity to the petitioner and other interested parties.

7. The writ petition is disposed of with the above observations. No costs.
