ORDER

The petitioners herein seek a direction to the first respondent to dispose of the proceedings pending on his file in Na.Ka.No. 11319/2009/B, dated 29.07.2024, based on the application filed by the petitioners, seeking UDR correction in respect of the properties situated

in Survey Field Nos.84/2, 101/3B, 111/2 and 146/1, Samayanallur Village, Madurai North Taluk, Madurai District. 2.Heard the arguments of Mr.M.Pandiarajan, learned counsel appearing for the petitioners and Mr.M.Gangatharan, learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents 1 to 3. Since no adverse order is passed against the respondents 4 and 5, notice to them is dispensed with.

3.By consent of both sides, this Writ Petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.

4.According to the petitioners, the private respondents obtained patta in the name of one Anthonyammal with a view to deny the shares of the petitioners in the subject properties. Therefore, the petitioners submitted an application before the first respondent in May 2009, seeking correction of the UDR records by including the petitioners' names. The first respondent initiated an enquiry on the application in his proceedings in Na.Ka.No.11319/2009/B and the same is not yet

completed. Hence, the petitioners have come before this Court. 5.The learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents 1 to 3 would submit the the enquiry is going on and the same will be completed within the time stipulated by this Court.

In view of the same, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the matter, the first respondent is directed to complete the enquiry initiated by him in Na.Ka.No.11319/2009/B and pass final orders on its own merits, within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, after issuing notice to the petitioners, private respondents 4 to 6 and other interested parties. Accordingly, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
