ORDER

The instant writ petition has been filed by a pensioner, seeking a mandamus directing the respondent to consider the representation of the 1/4

petitioner, dated 16.05.2024 to substitute the name of his second wife namely Muniyammal in the place of his deceased first wife Gothai Nayaki in his pension payment order.

2.On instructions, the learned Counsel appearing for the respondent herein submits that the office of the Accountant General of Tamil Nadu had rejected the request of the writ petitioner by way of proceedings dated 20.02.2023, and the same has also been communicated to the writ petitioner. 3.In view of the rejection order, it is open to the petitioner to challenge the said order, if he is so advised.

4.With the above said observations, this writ petition stands closed. No costs.
