ORDER
The Petitioner has come up with this Criminal Original Petition, seeking a direction to the 3rd respondent to complete the investigation and to file a final report in Crime No.2 of 2016, on the file of the 3rd respondent police within a stipulated time, on the basis of the petitioner's representation dated 19.05.2018.
2. Heard Mr.R.Udhayakumar, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mr.M.Chandrasekaran, learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents.
3. On the side of the petitioner, it is stated that the occurrence took place in the year 2016. But the respondent police has not completed the investigation, so far.
4. On the side of the respondent, it is stated that on the basis of the earlier complaint, the case was already registered in Crime No.2 of 2016, dated 19.05.2018 and the investigation is https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
still pending for examination of some more witnesses and for verification of documents and it is further submitted that the status report has been filed and recorded.
5. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, this Court directs the respondent police to complete the investigation in Crime No.2 of 2016 and to file a final report, within a period of two months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
