ORDER

The present writ petition is filed for a writ of certiorari to quash the impugned certificate issued by the first respondent under the Hindu Marriage Act.

2. The petitioner and the second respondent was married on 18.05.2025 and the same was registered on 22.05.2025. However, the parties are decided to annul the marriage for the reasons that the second respondent is inclined to live with the third respondent. Therefore, the petitioner and the second respondent being an adult has taken an independent decision to annul their marriage.

3. Today the petitioner as well as the second respondent appeared before this Court and also filed a joint memo to annul their marriage. The same is accepted. The marriage between the petitioner and the second respondent is hereby annulled based on the joint compromise memo. The Joint Compromise 2/4

memo shall form part of the order.

3. Accordingly, the writ petition is allowed and the impugned certificate issued under the Hindu Marriage Act in Marriage Registration HMR/Thallakulam/48/2025 and subsequent registration of marriage in Form III in TMR/Thallkulam/46/2025 under the Tamilnadu Registration of Marriage Act, 2009 is hereby quashed. No Costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
