ORDER
This Writ Petition has been filed in the nature of Mandamus seeking a direction to the first respondent/the Additional Commissioner (Cinema and Irrigation) cum Commissioner of Land Administration, Land Administrative Department, Chennai to dispose of an appeal dated 22.01.2021 which is pending before the said official.
2. Heard Mr.M.Mahaboob Athiff, learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr.S.Shanmugavel, learned Additional Government Pleader on behalf of the respondents.
3. Let me not enter into a detailed discussion on the merits of the case but rather issue a Mandamus to the first respondent to examine the said appeal and pass a considered order with reasons after following due procedure in manner known to law on or before 31.03.2022.
4. With the said observations, this Writ Petition is disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
